I’m diving deep into plant-side controls and instrumentation. My current operating mode is simple: ask sharp questions, learn from the veteran techs around me, and systematically upgrade my troubleshooting toolkit.
(Also: actively enjoying the significantly shorter commute.)
I am expanding my technical foundation by enrolling in the Process Control & Instrumentation Technology (PCIT) program at Joliet Junior College this upcoming Spring. The goal is to solidify the “why” behind the daily “how” of the work I’m doing in the field.
No complex metrics or PR chasing right now. The objective is straightforward: show up, respect the process, embrace the grind, and cross the finish line.
